Abstract: Intermittency is a universal phenomenon in random fields of multiplicative type. Does a discretization actually reflect the dynamical behavior in particular the weak intermittency of the original equation? To investigate this problem, this talk focuses on the stochastic heat equation with multiplicative noise under discretizations. We show that a class of discretizations of stochastic heat equation can preserve the weak intermittency, and even the index of Lyapunov exponents of the original equation.
