Abstract: In the homogeneous space SL(n+1,R)/SL(n+1,Z) equipped with the Haar probability measure, the flow a_t=diag(e^nt, e^-t, ... , e^-t) acts ergodicly, so by Birkhoff ergodic theorem, almost every point on the expanding horosphere has equidistributed a_t trajectory. We show that the same conclusion holds if one restricts to an affine subspace of the horosphere satisfying certain Diophantine and arithmetic condition. This is joint work in progress with Shah.
