Abstract: Recent advancements in wearable technology have greatly expanded both the availability and complexity of physical activity data. Actigraphy, in particular, enables continuous, high-frequency monitoring of activity patterns over multiple days, producing rich longitudinal datasets with repeated measurements for each individual. These data offer valuable opportunities to study behavioral patterns and health outcomes, yet they also present substantial analytical challenges arising from their intricate structure and dependence across time and subjects. In this talk, I will first outline the key characteristics of physical activity data and discuss the associated methodological challenges. I will then introduce statistical methods for integrating data collected from multiple sources and two-sample testing approaches tailored for repeatedly measured physical activity data.
