Abstract: Data-driven discovery has become a very important paradigm for science and engineering. In this talk, I will present data-driven modeling for nonlinear dynamic systems using transfer operators. With time-series data, the transfer operators are used to model deterministic dynamic systems and stochastic dynamic systems. The derived data-driven models are applied to state forecast and uncertainty quantification.
