Abstract: Cover theory, invented by Bushnell-Kutzko, is used to construct types for Bernstein components of the category of smooth complex representations of p-adic classical groups (Miyauchi-Stevens). I will show how to use cover theory for the classification of cuspidal representations of quaternionic forms of p-adic classical groups. It is done in the framework of S. Stevens.
