Abstract: The decomposition of certain induced modules is a way to construct irreducible representations in representation theory. In this talk, we discuss the principal representations of reductive algebraic groups, which provides a large class of infinite-dimensional irreducible representations. Based on these results, we construct the principal representation category which is related to the representations of certain class of incidence algebras.
