D in Mathematics, Peking University 2014.09-2017.06 - M.S. in Mathematics, Lanzhou University Research Interest My research interests lie in the area of geometric group theory, in particular topics related to bounded cohomology of groups. My Ph.D. thesis is titled Bounded Cohomology and Quasi-Convexity of Subgroups of Infinite Index in Groups with Negative Curvature. I study the characterization of infinite index quasi-convex subgroups of hyperbolic groups in terms of the relative second bounded cohomology. My current work focuses on generalizing some known results of bounded cohomology of groups to groups with contracting elements. Meanwhile, I aim to generalize some results on trivial cup products in bounded cohomology of some classes of groups to other non-positively curved groups.
